Frame a Sports Jersey Workshop
If you have a sport jersey that you would like framed, this studio style workshop will assist you to frame it on your own using archival supplies that will not harm your jersey. All tools and equipment (except the frame) will be supplied, along with a good workspace.

  • Supplies Required: 1 shadow box frame, 1 jersey, sweater, singlet or sport top that fits into the frame.
  • Dates: 2 Thursdays - April 16 & 23
  • Cost: $75, plus kit fee $50-$80
  • Max 10 participants
  • Supplies & equipment provided: acid free foam core, pins, exacto knives, cutting board, sewing supplies, double sided tape, fabric backing and quilt batting (if desired)

Course Outline

  • Day 1 – 2 hours
  • Demonstration – simple framing a jersey
  • Intro to tools & supplies
  • Option to cover the back
  • Preparing insert if time permits
  • Day 2 – up to 3 hours
  • Framing the jerseys

Based on museum/archival quality standards, this workshop will take you through some realistic solutions that you can do at home to ensure that your family history will last.
