Biography
Bruce Enns began his coaching career in 1958 at Mennonite Brethren
Collegiate in Winnipeg. He was in Grade 9. In 1973, he became the
varsity men's coach at the University of Winnipeg. Bruce coached the
Wesmen until 1985, when he left to coach at the University of British
Columbia.

At MBCI and at the U of W, Bruce molded quality basketball
programs. More importantly, his commitment to excellence benefited the
development of basketball not only in Manitoba, but throughout Canada
and beyond. Bruce gave clinics in nine provinces, the NWT, and in a
dozen countries. He assisted three different coaches with the Canadian
national team program.

His peers at the CIAU level selected him Coach of the Year four times.
