A graduate of Gordon Bell High School, Pat played for five years (1960-64) for the University of Manitoba "Bisons". She led the "Bisons" to five Provincial Senior Championships. At that time, there was no
university league play.
After graduation, Pat was an outstanding player in the Senior League from 1965 thru 1968, leading the Furnasman "Flames" to three consecutive Provincial Championships. In 1965 at the Canadian Championships, Pat was the Tournament Most Valuable Player.
