Nicknamed "Steady Eddie" by his colleagues, Eddie, a sport writer for the Winnipeg Tribune for almost 30 years, covered and reported on all aspects of amateur basketball, particularly in the 1950's.
A true friend of basketball, he promoted the Junior, Senior, and University basketball at every opportunity.
