Basketball Memorabilia Wanted for Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum

Doing some spring cleaning?  The Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum is asking all basketball community members to search through all of the basketball memorabilia they have collected over the years.  We want to increase our collection with as many 'new' and different items as possible.  We know that many of you have a lot of stuff that you, or your parents, saved over the years.  It is tucked away somewhere, and you seldom look at it.  This is an opportunity to donate it to the Hall of Fame and Museum so that it can be preserved and displayed for all our visitors, present and future.  It will get a good home, be looked after, and become a part of the history of the great basketball game in Manitoba.

We can also convert any old game tapes in most formats to add to our Classic Games collection and add them to YouTube.  We can take formats in DVD, VHS, and Beta, among others.  Learn more...


What are we looking for, you ask?  Any and all of the following :

• uniforms, including shorts, warm-ups and coaching shirts
• newspaper clippings, including those mounted in scrapbooks
• game programs
• basketball-related pins
• trophies and plaques
• game and team photos

There is no need to sort or organize – we will take anything in any shape or order.  We are prepared to pick up whatever you are willing to donate, or you can drop it off at...
