The Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum has announced the addition of a significant personal collection in a digital format of Manitoba-based basketball jerseys, clothing, and memorabilia, generously shared by Manitoban collector Phoenix Pennycook. The collection spans more than 70 years of items and features contributions from high schools, universities, community clubs, and provincial championship events across the province.
The collection includes:
- 85+ jerseys from Manitoba high schools, clubs, and universities
- 15+ provincial championship event shirts and programs
- 5 rare trading cards featuring Manitoba players (Todd MacCulloch, Emmanuel Akot, Keith Vassell, Justin Wright-Foreman)
- Multiple other items connected to players, coaches, and milestone moments
