Biography



Janet graduated from Queen Elizabeth High School in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1980. She was an outstanding player and scorer for the Brandon University Bobcats in 1981, 1982, 1983, and 1984. In each of those
years, she was a Great Plains Athletic Conference All-Star. In 1984, Janet was GPAC Most Valuable Player (MVP). A second-team All-Canadian in 1981 and 1983, Janet was selected first-team All-Canadian in 1984.

In her first year as a Bobcat, Janet lead the country in scoring with a game-point average of 23.7. She went on to become the Bobcats' leading scorer over four years with a total of 1,573 points.
